Freeth Cartwright LLP have provided the legal advice to professional services firm PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, liquidators of West Midlands International Airport Limited, who this week successfully concluded the sale of the company’s assets to Patriot Aviation Limited, a company owned by Sir Peter Rigby.

Whilst our search for a purchaser has taken several months, due to the importance of the airport to the tenants on site, businesses in the surrounding area and the local authority, we believe we have found a solution which provides the best outcome for all concerned.”
Simon Baigent, insolvency and restructuring partner at regional heavyweight law firm Freeth Cartwright's Nottingham office, who headed up the legal team that assisted the Liquidators complete the sale of the Airport added:
